Donald S. Bae, MD is a Professor in Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School and a Director in Orthopedic Surgery at Children’s Hospital Boston. He graduated from Harvard Medical School and completed the Harvard Combined Orthopedic Residency Program. After completing fellowship training in both pediatric orthopedic surgery at Children’s Hospital Boston and hand and upper extremity surgery at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dr. Bae joined the faculty in 2004.

Currently, he cares for a variety of congenital, traumatic, acquired, and sports-related conditions of the hand and upper limb in pediatric patients. His clinical research interests include congenital and post-traumatic upper limb reconstruction, sports-related conditions of the upper limb in adolescents, and brachial plexus birth palsy.
