Dr. Donald Layman is known and respected as the father of metabolism.” Dr. Layman has developed a proprietary system that will reset your metabolism to your early 20’s and maintain it for the rest of your life, thus stabilizing your sugar, lowering your cholesterol, lowering your blood pressure and losing the dangerous and unhealthy weight gain. There has never been a product concept like this in the world.

Dr. Layman Professor Emeritus of Nutrition in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is recognized for his research on amino acid metabolism, nutritional requirements during exercise and works with high protein weight-loss diets. Dr. Layman has over 90 peer-reviewed publications and his research has been recognized by the American Society for Nutritional Sciences with the BioServ Research Award in 1986, the Shannon Award from the National Institutes of Health in 1992, and the Nutrition and Metabolism Society National Leadership Award in 2009.

He has also received numerous awards and recognitions for his nutrition teaching at the University of Illinois. Dr. Layman served as Associate Editor of The Journal of Nutrition from 1989 through 1993 and he is currently Associate Editor of Nutrition and Metabolism and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior. Dr. Layman earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemistry at Illinois State University and completed his doctorate in human nutrition and biochemistry at the University of Minnesota in 1978.
