Donald B. Jump PhD

Donald Jump, PhD, earned his doctorate in biochemistry from Georgetown University. Presently he is a professor at Oregon State University and a principal investigator with the Linus Pauling Institute at Oregon State University. He is also the coordinator of the nutrition graduate program there. His research focuses on defining the molecular and metabolic basis for dietary fat regulation of hepatic lipid and carbohydrate metabolism. He has more than 70 papers published in peer-reviewed publications. Before joining Oregon State University, he was a professor with Michigan State University.
