Dr. Don Young Park is a Board Certified, fellowship trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon with a particular interest in minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal deformity, spine tumor, and spinal trauma. He was born and raised in Los Angeles. He is proud to be an alumnus of UCLA and now part of the faculty at UCLA.

Dr. Park received his medical degree from the UCSD School of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency and spine surgery fellowship at Stanford. During residency and fellowship, Dr. Park published groundbreaking research in stem cell transplantation in spinal cord injury using the rat model. For his efforts, he was awarded the Cervical Spine Research Society 1st place Fellow Research Award in 2011. He was also awarded the Research Award at Stanford upon graduation.

Dr. Park is currently a reviewer for The Spine Journal, the Global Spine Journal, and Spine. He has published both basic science and clinical peer-reviewed journal articles as well as written textbook chapters in spine surgery. Dr. Park has presented his research both internationally and nationally.
