Donald R. Dengel PhD, MA

Donald R. Dengel, Ph.D., professor of exercise science in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Laboratory of Integrative Human Physiology (LIHP), has been appointed by President Joan Gabel as the Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR) for the University of Minnesota. As the FAR, Dr. Dengel serves as the University’s delegate to the NCAA, Big 10, WCHA, and other external organizations. The FAR reviews all legislation and policies of these organizations and works with Intercollegiate Athletics and the faculty to assure the academic integrity and welfare of the U of M’s student-athletes.
