Dr. Domnique Newallo currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia. As an Army veteran and former CT technologist, she received her undergraduate degree in chemistry at Spelman College before earning her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2017. After not matching her first residency application cycle, Dr. Newallo went on to graduate from a Nuclear Medicine residency at Emory University in June 2021 and is now a radiology resident at Emory, projected to graduate in June 2024. She avidly participates in numerous committees with the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, the American College of Radiology, and internally within Emory Radiology. Her interests are apparent when noting the task forces she's actively involved with, such as the SNMMI Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) task force, Emory University Department of Radiology DEI committee, ACR/RSNA Image Wisely Committee, and Emory University Quality Improvement team. Additional interests also include mentoring, teaching, and encouraging awareness of mental health and wellness.
