Dr Rothenfluh, MD, PhD is a Director and Head-Physician Spine Centre at Lausanne university hospital with a PhD in Bioengineering. His main clinical interest is complex adult spinal surgery which includes adult deformity and reconstructive surgery of the spine and surgery for primary tumours. He is a principal investigator at the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal and chief investigator of national and international multicentre studies. His main interest is the complex spine, i.e. adult deformity and tumours. He engages in EUROSPINE to improve spinal surgery education, training and science in Europe and thereby advance the speciality. Sciences at the University of Oxford and chief investigator of national and international multicenter studies.
