Prof. Dominik Seelow is professor of bioinformatics and translational genetics at the Charité and the Berliner Institut für Gesundheitsforschung (BIH). Whilst he is a biochemist by official education, he has been working in the fields of bioinformatics and monogenic 'rare' diseases for almost two decades.
He joined the Charite in 2006 and has recently been appointed professor at the BIH. His group focusses on the development of clinician-friendly software to find the molecular causes of monogenic diseases.
