Domenico Rendina MD, PhD

Dr. Domenico Rendina, MD, Ph.D. is a post-graduate student at the School of Clinical and Experimental Pathophysiology of Federico II University of Naples and Senior Internist at “Spinelli” Hospital Belvedere Marittimo (CS). He graduated from “Federico II” University of Naples Medical School in 1995 and completed his training in Internal Medicine in 2003. His scientific activity is in the fields of endocrinology and metabolism, with a special interest in calcium-phosphate metabolism and the genetic basis of metabolic bone disease. He is a member of the Italian Society for Osteoporosis and Bone and Mineral Metabolism and the Forum in Bone and Mineral Research. He was involved in several collaborative international studies and presently collaborates with The Olivetti Heart Study Dr. Rendina is the author of several scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals.
