Domagoj Javor general practitioner and interventional radiologist (MD, master degree in theoretical physics) working at the University Clinic Krems as the head of the department of radiology and in my private clinical practice in Vienna. He has a strong clinical background with over 15 years of experience. After completing his medical degree and degree in theoretical physics at the University in Vienna and Verona and completing hisresidency in general medicine in primary care hospitals in Switzerland, He was trained in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional radiology at the university clinic in Vienna (Prof. Herold, Prof. Lammer).
His current role at the university hospital focuses on all aspects of interventional radiology, as well as medical research in the field of medical imaging and artificial intelligence (Associate Professor of Radiology of the Karl Landsteiner University, approx. 12 peer-reviewed publications with approx. 250 citations). He is also co-founder of the MED18 Healthcare Center where a team of healthcare specialists offer a broad spectrum of high-quality medical care. At MED18 his focus is on aeromedical medicine for professional and private pilots, as well as cabin crew.He is passionate about research and technology. In his role as a senior consultant for LifeTec Solutions GmbH he is focusing on medical imaging cloud solutions and approaches to bridge teleradiology and the field of artificial intelligence.
