Dittmar Böckler, M.D is a department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Heidelberg is one of the oldest and long-standing vascular centers in Germany. For many decades, patients with acute and chronic diseases of the arteries and veins have been treated at our department. Since 2001, Vascular Surgery has been an independent department of the Department of Surgery at the University Hospital Heidelberg. Furthermore, there are numerous national as well as international cooperations, e.g. with the Baptist Cardiovascular Center in Miami, USA
