Dirk De Ridder MD, PhD

Professor Dirk De Ridder is the Professor of Urology in the University Hospitals KU Leuven, Belgium. He is also the General coordinator and medical director of the National MS Hospital Melsbroek, Belgium. He was the past President of European Society for Neurourology and the Special interest group on sexual, urological and bowel dysfunction in Multiple Sclerosis.

He is the Board member European Society for Female and Functional Urology and Associate editor Neurourology and Urodynamics. He has a long and distinguished career in urological reconstruction. Besides these he has a special interest in the field of interstitial cells and urothelial signaling and also run an exclusive laboratory on mesh and implant behaviour
