Dindagur Nagaraja

Prof. D. Nagaraja is the Senior Professor of Neurology. He has the unique distinction of specializing in Psychiatry and Neurology. After his basic medical degree from Bangalore Medical College, he joined for the post-graduation in psychiatry and later Doctor of Medicine program in Neurology, after which he joined the department of Neurology NIMHANS as faculty. He served as Director Vice-Chancellor/Senior Professor NIMHANS Bangalore before joining as Director DIMHANS on 19/11/2012.Within short tenure, director got recognition for 20,DPN seats, two post graduation seats in MD psychiatry was started in collaboration with KIMS Hubli, initiatives to start post graduation training programme in clinical Psychology and Psychiatric social work were taken. Emphasis was given for infrastructure and development clinical services.
