Prof. Gurun currently serves as director of the Divison of Clinical Dentistry, overseeing the Group Practice Model for dental and dental hygiene students. He earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine and prosthodontic training at the University of Istanbul, Turkey. He completed a fellowship program in Prosthodontics and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Florida. He joined the university in 2001.
