Dr. Dina Halegoua-De Marzio is a full-time transplant hepatologist and is currently a Professor of Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. She completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowships in gastroenterology and transplant hepatology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (TJUH). She developed the first adult Fatty Liver Center in the Delaware Valley and currently serves as its director.
She also serves as the Director of GI Research at TJUH and Associate Chief for the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She has been recognized by the house staff at TJUH as "Teacher of the Year" for her specialty and by Sidney Kimmel Medical College Education Honor Roll as an excellent educator. She has been a member of the Drug-Induced Liver Injury Network (DILIN) since 2021 and currently serves as Co-chair of DILIN's Herbal and Dietary Supplement Subcommittee.
