Dimitrios Mavrelos BA, MBBS, MRCOG, MD

Mr Dimitrios Mavrelos is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and accredited Sub-specialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. He studied medicine at the University of Oxford and Guy's King's St Thomas' School of Medicine. He completed his specialty and subspecialty training in London training with international experts in gynaecological ultrasound, minimal access surgery to improve fertility and in vitro fertilisation.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Mavrelos is an honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London and has published innovative scientific articles and book chapters on the diagnosis and management of endometriosis, the diagnosis and management of early pregnancy complications and the impact of gynaecological disorders on fertility. He lectures nationally and internationally on these subjects and continues leading an active research programme on improving outcomes of IVF cycles.
