Dimitri P. Mikhailidis MSc, MB, MD

Prof. Dimitri P. Mikhailidis graduated from the University of London (BSc, MSc, MB, BS, and MD) and is Academic Head, Reader and Honorary Consultant in the Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Royal Free Hospital Campus, University College London Medical School, University College London (UCL), UK. He also is a Visiting Professor, at the Univ. of Belgrade, Serbia, and at two universities in Saudi Arabia (King Saud Univ., Riyadh, and King Khalid Univ., Abha). His clinical interest is vascular disease prevention, and his research interests are dyslipidaemias and thrombosis. He is a former Wellcome Trust fellow and has supervised 15 doctoral students (University of London).

He is a former Vice-president, of the Section of Pathology, Royal Society of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath), Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FFPM) and Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology (FCP).
