Dimanico Ugo

Dr. Ugo Dimanico is a Neurologist and Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Physician at the Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Unit at "Città della Salute e della Scienza di Torino" University Hospital. He is also Professor of Biomechanics at the Physical Therapy Department, University of Novara (Cuneo) and of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at the Physical Theraphy Department, University of Torino.
His current clinical and research activity is oriented to neurorehabilitation, with special emphasis on movement analysis, ultrasonography and spasticity treatment.
Dr. Dimanico received his medical degree in 1984. After graduating, he specialised in neurology and in physical therapy and rehabilitation at Turin University, Italy. Dr. Dimanico is a consultant for national and European projects, and was a partner of the European Surface Electromyography for Non Invasive Assessment of Muscles (SENIAM) project from 1996–1999. He also organised the National Congress of the Italian Association of Clinical Movement Analysis (SIAMOC) in 2007 and several Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses.
He regularly attends national and international congresses, participates in conferences, and delivers lectures on neurophysiology and neurorehabilitation.
