Prof. Dr. Dieter F. Braus has been Director of the Clinic and Polyclinic for Psychiatry at Helios Dr. Horst Schmidt Hospitals Wiesbaden, teaching hospital of the Johann-Gutenberg University Mainz, which he planned and rebuilt.
From 2014 to 2016 he was also medical director at Helios HSK. As a university professor of psychiatry, his scientific interests lie in the field of neurobiology of affect modulation, memory, and the importance of the reward system for psychiatry using imaging.
