Diego Espinosa BS, MA, MBA

Diego Espinosa is the CEO of healthcoin, a blockchain-based diabetes prevention platform. Espinosa conceived of healthcoin after reversing his diabetes while he was researching blockchain applications in finance. As a result, the start-up is part digital health and part fintech.
Espinosa is an expert on network dynamics in financial and biological systems. Prior to healthcoin, he had a career as a hedge fund manager, PM of a $10b Global Equity fund, #1-ranked Wall Street analyst and BCG strategy consultant. As an investor, his greatest achievement was successfully calling the 2008 Crisis. Espinosa has an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School. He designed and taught an innovative course on Financial Systems as an Adjunct Professor of Finance, and he is a published author on the subject. Espinosa has also been involved in social impact investing and helped launch three start-ups in sustainable agriculture.
