Diego Cuccurullo MD

Dr. Diego Cuccurullo, MD is a Chief Of the General, Laparoscopic and Robotic Unit at the AORN Hospitals of the Hills - Monaldi Hospital. He received his Medical Degree and General Surgery Specialization from the University of Naples in 1986 and in 1991. He is a Professor of Surgery at the University of the Study of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, in the Degree Course for Infermieristic Sciences, since 2002. He mainly deals with oncological surgery of the digestive tract (colon-rectum, stomach, esophagus), functional surgery (achalasia, hiatus hernia), and parietal reconstructive surgery (incisional hernias, abdominal wall hernias, diastasis rectus muscles), mostly performed of cases with minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopy, robotics), with the use of the most current technologies.
