Dianne Hogg is a Medicines Mechanisms Project Lead at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. She has worked in the field of non-medical prescribing since 1999 and is committed to its implementation wherever it can improve the quality of patient care. She is currently supporting and promoting the potential benefits of allowing new groups of health care professionals to be able to use the legal mechanisms to prescribe, supply, and administer medicines to their patients including independent prescribing, use of patient group directions, and exemptions from the Medicines Act restrictions.
