Diane After finishing her undergraduate Science degree in Zoology at the University of British Columbia and taking time to travel and work, Diane graduated in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 1995. In 2003 she completed her internationally recognized advanced manual and manipulative Physiotherapy examinations to gain her FCAMPT designation. In 2008, Diane completed her Gunn IMS certification and uses IMS needling with her patients in combination with exercise and manual therapy.

She has detailed training and experience in treating spine specific injuries as well as sport and activity related concerns. With open ears and a good sense of humor, Diane brings 20 years of experience to her practice and is known for her ability to quickly develop meaningful connections with patients. Diane has a special interest in persistent pain and complex spine presentations and her patients include elite athletes, weekend warriors, musicians, office workers with postural injuries and those seeking solutions to longstanding pain conditions.

Diane is a mentor with the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association for Physiotherapists completing their Fellowship in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy and a Registered Independent Management Consultant for motor vehicle collisions in Alberta. She splits her work hours between consulting at Fifth Avenue Physiotherapy and the Calgary Chronic Pain Center where she works with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals treating complex and persistent pain patients. A lover of learning and not one to give up easily, each year Diane seeks to fine tune and update her clinical skills based on the latest research, courses, conferences and presenting to her peers. A firm believer in collaboration and the value of community, Diane consults with other experts both within Calgary and across Canada to help find the best solutions for patients.
