Diane Doughty PhD

Diane Doughty is a senior scientist in the Device Development group within Biopharmaceuticals Development at AstraZeneca. In her role, she has led cross-functional device teams to develop prefilled syringes, autoinjectors, and pen injectors for the delivery of peptides and monoclonal antibodies. Diane has a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Maryland where she investigated the usability of orally inhaled and nasal drug products and the effects of patient-variability on product critical quality attributes.
