Diana Aldona Rothenstein Julie MD, MPH, BA

Diana Julie was born in Timisoara, Romania and grew up in Toronto. She earned her bachelors degree from Princeton University, where she majored in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She then worked as a Research Technician in a signal transduction lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she explored changes in radiosensitivity conferred by knocking out different repair pathways. She went on to earn her medical degree, as well as her masters in public health, from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. During her time at Downstate, she was involved in radiation oncology clinical research, focusing on the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies. She then completed her transitional year internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center."
