Dhaval Rajnikant Mehta MD

Dhaval R. Mehta, MD, is a medical oncologist and hematologist at UPMC CancerCenter. Dr. Mehta treats all types of cancer and has special interest in hematological disorders and solid tumors, and clinical trials in the community setting.

Dr. Mehta is board-certified in internal medicine. He received a medical degree at B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India with graduating in top 10 percentile of the class. Dr. Mehta completed a residency in internal medicine at NSLIJ-Long Island Jewish Medical Centre in New Hyde Park, N.Y., where he stayed an extra year as chief resident.
