Dharmintra Pasupathy completed his undergraduate medical training at The University of Liverpool and his basic clinical and core specialist registrar training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Bristol and Cambridge. He was awarded the MRCOG in 2004, completed an MSc in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2005, successfully secured an MRC/RCOG Clinical Research Training Fellowship in 2006 and was awarded his PhD from the University of Cambridge in 2010. He subsequently completed the NIHR Clinical Lectureship and Sub-specialty training in Maternal and Fetal Medicine at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital, King’s Health Partners, King’s College London.

He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the division and a Consultant in Maternal & Fetal Medicine in Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital with clinical commitments in Fetal Medicine, the Diabetic Antenatal Service and in the Hospital Birth Center. His area of research is focused on abnormal fetal growth, in particular fetal macrosomia and the association with adverse birth and long term outcomes.
