Dennis Paul Orgill, MD, PhD, is the Associate Chief of Surgery and serves as the Assistant Program Director of the Combined Harvard Plastic Surgery Residency Program. He is widely recognized for his abilities as a reconstructive plastic surgeon specializing in complex reconstructive procedures for cancer, trauma, and burn patients. Dr. Orgill helped develop artificial skin for burn victims and has an active laboratory that studies and develops improved technologies in wound healing and tissue engineering.
