Dr. Dennis Paul Nutter is a board-certified pediatric dentist who has been in practice for more than 25 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in biology and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California. He completed a combined hospital-university residency in pediatric dentistry at USC. Dr. Nutter has certificates in both hospital dentistry and cleft palate rehabilitation from Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Downey.
Dr. Nutter serves as the president of the California Society of Pediatric Dentists, as well as a national lecturer on pain assessment, pain justification, and pain measurement in children. He also sits on numerous committees of the CSPD and is a trustee of the Western Society of Pediatric Dentists.
The doctor is a frequently invited lecturer to the University of Southern California, University of California San Francisco, and Loma Linda dental schools. In addition, Dr. Nutter is a past president of the Napa-Solano Dental Society and a past trustee of the California Dental Association. He has also served as a delegate to the American Dental Association.
