Dennis J. Hurwitz MD, FACS

Dennis J. Hurwitz, MD, FACS, is Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School, and the director of the Hurwitz Center for Plastic Surgery. He founded and directed the Craniofacial Surgery program at the University of Pittsburgh in 1978 and is past medical director of the University Cleft Palate/ Craniofacial Center. For his academic performance and clinical care of facially deformed children on May 2001 he was awarded membership to the Honor Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He founded and directed in 1995 the University of Pittsburgh Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Center.
