Denise Llewellyn MSc

Denise trained as a Registered General nurse in 1983 in Wales. She has worked in many different health care settings in England and Wales in a variety of roles. She has experience as a General Manager, Deputy Nurse Director and has 6 years experience as a Nurse Director. Her MSc is in Health Service Management & Research which she obtained at Essex University.

More recently Denise has been seconded to the Welsh Assembly Government providing professional advice on a range of nursing priority areas including Free to Lead, Free to Care, The family Nurse and Independent Prescribing. She led on the Fundamentals of Care National Electronic Audit tool that will enable benchmarking of nursing standards across Wales. Denise was also a serving nursing officer in the QARANC (V) Territorial Army.
