Denis Gilmore MD

Dr. Denis Michael Gilmore graduated cum laude with his B.S. in Chemistry and Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University before attending medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland where he received his MD, MB, BCh, and BAO, graduating with high honors.

He then completed his internship and residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, and attended Vanderbilt University for his fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery.

His research interests are Thoracic Surgery, Lung Cancer, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Esophageal Disorders, Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery, Heart Transplant, and Lung Transplant.
