Dejan Arzensek has a Currently Scientist at Downstream Process Development at LEK PHARMACEUTICALS D.D. part of Sandoz division as a NOVARTIS company and organizationally in Biologics Technical Development and Manufacturing (BTDM) Menges site. PhD in Physics obtained at University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Expert in Process Analytical Technology (PAT) as part of Quality by Design (QbD) approach to drive protein drug process development towards Continuous Processing in Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing as part of nextBioPharmDSP project of EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation “Horizon 2020”. Leading new technology project of PAT implementation on integrated processes using APC control strategies, where APC control system is building. Implementing and applying bioinformatics solutions (software, data integration) in order to find key technologies and methods and carrying out complex bioinformatics analyses. In the current department also an expert in drug substance ultrafiltration/diafiltration step. Previously part of Protein Biophysics and Bioinformatics department.
