Deirdre Thorn RN, CDE

Deirdre Thorn has 23 years of experience as a Diabetes Educator in all aspects of diabetes care type 1, type 2 with a special interest in diabetes in pregnancy. She is excited by new treatments, new technologies, insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring and is a certified product trainer in this area. As an Endocrine Nurse, she also has a particular interest in pituitary disorders. Deirdre works in private practice both at Central Melbourne Endocrinology, Fitzroy and Bendigo Diabetes and Endocrine Centre, Bendigo.
