Deirdre Kelly is currently enrolled in the medical oncology residency program accredited by The Royal College of Physicians in Ireland. She attended University College Dublin from 2006 to 2011 for undergraduate training in Medicine (MB BCh BAO). She has published internationally and has presented posters at ESMO and ASCO. She was awarded The Irish Society of Medical Oncology Award in 2016, 2017, and 2018 as well as the ESMO-ESO Honorarium 2017. She was the Chief Resident in the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital 2015 / 2016 and won the Health Service Executive National Leadership Award 2016 for her work on Quality Improvement. She is currently undertaking her medical oncology subspecialty fellowship at The Princess Margaret Phase 1 Drug Development Program and collaborating with The Princess Margaret Bioinformatics and Computational Genomics Laboratory.
