Deepti Anbarasan MD

Dr. Deepti Anbarasan is board certified in three disciplines: Neurology, Psychiatry, and Epilepsy. She received her medical education and training from the New York University School of Medicine and Columbia University Medical Center. Her unique background gives her the expertise to diagnose and treat a diverse range of neuropsychiatric conditions.

Her specialties include the management of mood and behavioral disturbances associated with epilepsy, movement disorders, traumatic or acquired brain injury, autism spectrum disorder, dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders. Conditions treated also include depression, anxiety, functional neurological disorders including Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) including Non-Epileptic Seizures (NES), and attention deficit disorder (ADHD). Dr. Anbarasan uses psychotherapy, medications, or both, depending on each individual’s specific needs and treatment goals. Her comprehensive approach to coming up with specific treatment plans for each individual is based on the best interest of the patient.
