Deena Leslie Pedrioli is a Canadian Molecular Cell Biologist with a Ph.D. in Cell Biology. She has developed her career based on the ethos that effectively treating human disease and delivering personalized healthcare requires a detailed understanding of the why, when, and how a disease condition develops.
Dr. Leslie Pedrioli’s work is focused on keratinizing skin disorders, a large group of highly debilitating, genetically diverse hereditary diseases that cause skin fragility and have a life-long impact on patients. The group of diseases includes epidermolytic palmoplantar keratoderma (EPPK) and pachyonychia congenital (PC).
