Declan Murphy MBBS, FRCPsych, MD

Professor Murphy is Head of the Section of Brain Maturation at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London. He is currently leading a brain imaging project funded by the Medical Research Council to investigate autism, and a Department of Health clinical research programme investigating ADHD and autism.

He completed his clinical training at the Maudsley Hopsital. His research training began at the Institute of Psychiatry and was completed at the National Institute on Aging, near Washington in America. He then returned to the UK to a research position at the Institute of Psychiatry.
