Debra Weiner, MD, PhD is an Emergency Department Physician at Boston Children's Hospital, and a charter member of the HMS Disaster Medicine Section.She has been a member of the National Disaster Medical System MA-1 Team, Pediatric Team and the International Medical Surgical Response Team, and has deployed for disaster response nationally and internationally.She has written and lectured on disaster related pediatric considerations, and has co-developed and taught a simulation course on for disaster training in austere environments.
