Debra L. Sietsema, PhD, RN, is the Clinical Research Director at Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan in Grand Rapids. She received her PhD from Michigan State University (MSU) in East Lansing and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. Dr. Sietsema is also Associate Professor in the College of Human Medicine at MSU and Professor at the Van Andel Research Institute in Grand Rapids. She is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses, Own the Bone, The Bone and Joint Initiative, and RN-AIM.
