Deborah (dvora) T. Blumenthal MD

Dr. Deborah T. Blumenthal is a Professor of Neurology and Neuro-Oncology at Tel Aviv University. She is also a Neuro-oncology at Ichilov hospital. Dr. Blumenthal earned her medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. She completed her residency in Neurology at West Virginia University and her fellowship in neuro-oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

Dr. Blumenthal is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and serves on several neuro-oncology committees. She served as the chairperson for the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG) Brain Committee. For seven years, Dr. Blumenthal was Director of Neuro-oncology at the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

She has been published in dozens of medical journals and books, her research has earned a number of awards, and she has given numerous neurology-related presentations around the world. Her research interests focus on familiality in brain tumors and on clinical trials for brain tumors.
