Deborah Saltman MBBS, MD, PhD

Deborah Saltman is the Chair, Independent Scientific Advisory Committee, Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (UK). She holds positions as Honorary Professor at Imperial College, London and the University of Sydney and is Visiting Professor at the University of Technology, Sydney. Previously, she was a clinical and scientific director. Deborah is a member of the Order of Australia, a recipient of the Rose Hunt Medal (UK) and a Notable Australian Doctor.

She has a doctorate in general practice, Fellowships of several family practices and public health boards and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has run leadership workshops for physicians worldwide. She is returning this year to run again her highly rated workshop on "Seven Principles of Effective Leadership" and a new session on "Predicting Your Leadership Success: A Checklist to Inventory Your Skills and Readiness."
