Deborah Clements MD, FAAFP

Deborah Clements, MD, FAAFP began as Professor and Chairman of Family and Community Medicine at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in May 2013. She is also the inaugural Program Director of the Northwestern McGaw FMR at Lake Forest. In 2015, she was endowed as the Nancy and Warren Furey Professor of Community Medicine. In 2002, she completed a primary care health policy fellowship with the US Department of Health and Human Services. She holds a certificate in Medical Bioethics and completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine in 2017 at the University of Arizona.

Dr. Clements currently serves on the Association of Departments of Family Medicine Board of Directors. Previously, she served as President of the AFMRD Board of Directors. Dr. Clements also is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and the Feinberg Academy of Medical Educators.
