Dr. Lockwood is a cardiologist with specialty training in cardiac rhythm management for those who suffer from symptoms such as palpitations, lightheadedness, and breathlessness. She is skilled in complex catheter ablation and implantation of pacemaker and defibrillator devices, including biventricular devices.
She is responsible for inpatient and outpatient care of patients with heart problems, including heart attacks, structural heart disease, heart failure, and heart rhythm disturbances. She performs state-of-the-art curative catheter ablation procedures for heart rhythm disturbances as well as maintaining a busy clinical practice with OU Physicians Group.
She currently works with Dr. Marvin Peyton in the Department of Surgery, Section of Thoracic and Cardiovascular on minimally invasive surgical treatment of atrial fibrillation and serves as one of the course directors.
