Dr. Debbie Granick is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Doctorally-prepared Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with an additional Master's in Public Health. She is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, and attended graduate school at the University of North Carolina.
She has worked in the mental health field for thirty years, serving youth and adults and specifically enjoying her work with women. She utilizes a holistic, genuine, “straight-shooting” approach and throws in a little humor, which her clients appreciate. She currently divides her professional time between a part-time clinical practice providing medication management and therapy and her role as a thought leader, content creator, speaker, and consultant advocating for the integration of medication and counseling to provide best practice care for patients.
She also speaks on topics including the impossible goal of work/life balance, caring for your mental health, parenting, and coping with life transitions. Her goal is to help health providers feel confident and skilled in the mental health care they provide, reduce provider burnout, and improve patient experience with whole-person care.
