Dr. Deborah Carvalho Malta, MPH He holds a Post-Doctorate at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa - Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in health assessment, a Doctorate in Public Health from the State University of Campinas (2001), a Master's degree in Public Health from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, a degree in Medicine from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2001). Federal de Juiz de Fora, medical residency in Pediatrics and Social Medicine. She worked as director of the Department of Surveillance of Non-Communicable Diseases and Diseases and Health Promotion, Ministry of Health for 12 years and coordinated, for the Ministry of Health, national surveys such as the National Survey of School Health (PeNSE 2009, 2012, 2015), Surveillance of Risk Factors by Telephone Surveys (Vigitel) from 2006 to 2015, National Health Survey (PNS 2013), Surveillance of Accidents and Violence (VIVA 2005 to 2014). Coordinated the "Plan of Strategic Actions to Combat Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in Brazil, 2011-2022". He is a member of the scientific committee of the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) in Seattle, United States and coordinates the Research Group of GBD Brazil. He has several publications on the topic of NCDs, population surveys, analysis of risk factors, studies on mortality, health assessment and others. It has partnerships with numerous national and international researchers, collaborative networks. He guides several graduate students. Has experience in Public Health, working mainly on the following subjects: epidemiology,
