Debjani Paul joined the Biosciences and Bioengineering department as an assistant professor in May 2012. She is also an associate faculty member at the Wadhwani Research Centre for Bioengineering, IIT Bombay. Debjani did a PhD in physics (2005) at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and postdoctoral research at the Curie Institute and the University of Cambridge. She is interested in using microfluidics as a tool to develop lab-on-a-chip devices and to address certain questions at the physics/biology interface.
