Debi Adams

Debi is team leader of the palliative neurology and care homes teams at Saint Catherine’s Hospice in Scarborough. Since qualifying with in adult nursing from Oxford Brookes University in 1993, she has mainly worked with people with Neurological conditions. In the past 18 years she has worked as a specialist nurse in a variety of roles and settings, including as an MS Specialist Nurse. She now leads the palliative neurology service at St Catherine’s and is leading numerous developments and evaluations of this novel service. The service has recently been highly commended in the 2015 BMJ awards for their work with people with Parkinson’s disease.
