Debbie White NP

Debbie White has been a Nurse Practitioner: palliative care since 2011 and is based in the Hastings Macleay region of the Mid North Coast of NSW. Debbie came to palliative care almost 30 years ago from midwifery – one end of the spectrum to the other! During her palliative care career, she has worked in both England and Australia, in inpatient and community settings.
She completed a bachelor of science – palliative nursing in the UK and later a master of nursing – Nurse Practitioner in Australia. Her interests include engaging with the community to improve death literacy, the provision of palliative care for patients with non-malignant conditions, and supporting nurses and other health professionals to develop their skills in palliative care.
