Deanna Porter

Deanna Porter is a Senior Principle Biocompatibility Scientist specializing in biocompatibility safety evaluations for medical devices at Abbott. Deanna has been a member of the Science and Technology group at Abbott, formerly St Jude Medical, for the last 15 years. She started her career at SJM as a method validation scientist and progressed to managing groups within S&T to include the analytical lab, method development, lab systems, and biocompatibility. Deanna has recently taken on a lead technical role in support of global biocompatibility initiatives at Abbott to include next-generation test method development and strategic biocompatibility solutions for electrophysiology, heart failure, neuromodulation, and structural heart products.
